Hello. We’re an architectural interior design studio based near Winchester.
We provide high-end interior design in Winchester, creating considered, elegant homes for private clients across this historic city.
Since 2007, we have created inspiring, finely detailed interiors for period townhouses, contemporary properties and rural family homes throughout Winchester.
As interior designers in Winchester, we think of every project as unique, and every client brings their own individual story.
I believe that the architectural design and interior decoration of our homes can have a powerful influence on our lives and wellbeing.
Home frames our daily lives: it’s the place we relax, entertain, work, restore and express ourselves. A well-designed interior supports how we do these things — and just as importantly, how we feel while doing them.
That feeling doesn’t happen by chance. It’s the result of thoughtful, intelligent and highly tailored design: a response to who you are, how you live, what you need and what you hope for. Seeing our clients experience joy, ease and delight in a transformed space — and feeling the emotional difference their home now makes — is why we do what we do.

Stephen Dick, Interior Designer

Interior designer in Winchester – our studio
We are an interior design and architectural design studio specialising in luxury homes and residential developments across Winchester and the surrounding area. From our studio in West Meon, just outside Winchester, we work on properties from Georgian terraces and Victorian villas to contemporary homes on the hillsides around the city. We provide a full interior design service tailored to each individual client.
Winchester’s heritage meets considered interior design
Winchester’s architectural heritage shapes our design approach. The city’s medieval heart, Georgian streets, Victorian townhouses and historic rural estates create a rich architectural landscape defined by proportion, craftsmanship and quiet elegance. Whether working within a listed property or a modern home built to complement its surroundings, Winchester’s history and timeless character always inform our work here.
Inspired by Winchester’s beauty
Winchester’s setting — chalk streams, ancient woodland, soft rolling hills and the distinctive light of the Itchen Valley — is an extraordinary source of inspiration. We translate these elements into interiors with balanced, natural palettes, layered textures and a sense of calm refinement. The city’s heritage of architecture and craft also informs an aesthetic grounded in authenticity and thoughtful detail.
How Winchester influences our interior design work
We design with a strong sense of place. Across Winchester’s varied homes — from period townhouses in the historic centre to modern properties on Sleepers Hill — a shared thread often appears: understated refinement, natural materials and an emphasis on comfort and functionality. The result is beautifully crafted interiors that honour Winchester’s heritage while embracing contemporary living — homes that feel quietly modern and deeply connected to this beautiful city.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a particular interior design style for Winchester homes?
Not quite — although Winchester’s architecture and landscapes create subtle but distinctive influences.
We design interiors that feel deeply personal to each client, shaped by their lifestyle and the character of their home, whether it’s a historic townhouse, a modern build or a rural property just outside the city. The wider context of the city matters too though, as this influences what feels natural in our homes.
Winchester’s setting often inspires natural materials, soft palettes and refined details within our interiors. These influences help anchor each project within its surroundings while keeping every home entirely individual.

Do we use suppliers from Winchester for our projects?
We work with a wide range of suppliers, craftspeople, makers and specialists. Many are based around Winchester and across Hampshire, where traditional craftsmanship continues to thrive.
The region has a strong tradition of high-quality craftsmanship and bespoke making, and sourcing locally is often a more sustainable choice, reducing transport and supporting the local economy.
Local materials also enhance a home’s sense of place — a key part of our design ethos.
In which areas of Winchester can we help with interior design projects?
We work across the whole of Winchester as well as the surrounding villages, including Alresford, Twyford, Micheldever, Stockbridge, Kings Worthy, Headbourne Worthy and the Itchen villages.
Wherever your home is in or around Winchester, we would be delighted to help you with your project.
Our studio is located in the beautiful village of West Meon, just to the east of Winchester and at the foot of Old Winchester Hill. From here we provide interior design services across Hampshire and the surrounding counties.
