It’s the KBB Lockdown Design Competition!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
David and Jessica live in a converted lighthouse on the stunning Devon coastline. It has many original features that they love but they are open to any building work needed to give them the family home of their dreams…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
…and they need designers!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The competition is open to all ages… with different categories… and loads of fantastic prizes…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the lighthouse David and Jessica would like a family kitchen/living space that will shock and amaze in equal measure and they are open to all ideas. They also need a new principal en-suite bathroom that feels totally unique to them and is full of personality.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The kids have their own bathroom that needs a total redesign too. The parents are happy for them to have whatever they want and make it a totally kids only environment…⠀
The kids are really lucky, they have a tree house out in the garden and Mum and Dad have said they can have their own kitchen/living space up there as they always have so many friends round. Anything is possible!

It’s been great fun working with Andrew Davies of kbbreview magazine on this brief, and the panel including Elspeth Pridham, Johnny Grey, Ros Wilson, Linda Barker, Vanessa Brady, Cheryl Gurner, Graham Robinson, Charlie Smallbone and myself will be returning to judge… I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with… especially for the tree house!
