Open Plan Kitchen, South West London

We redesigned and refurbished the ground floor of this townhouse in Streatham, South West London, to accommodate the clients’ young and growing family.

We created a layout which provided a spacious open plan kitchen and dining room for them, opening out fully onto the garden.

An island in the centre of the room provides kitchen prep space as well as additional storage and a breakfast bar.  We used the existing chimney breast to house the large range oven and the extraction above it.  External extraction fans were used to avoid the sound noise on the inside.
