Well it’s supposed to be the first day of summer, but it’s been a wet and gloomy start to the day so far!
So how wonderful to be putting some schemes together for a project in Hampshire using Bute‘s brilliantly-named ‘Tutti Frutti Tweed’ fabric:
Sometimes we see beautiful traditional products here in the studio, and sometimes we see the brightest and most colourful things.
The aptly-named ‘Tutti Frutti Tweed’ is both: one of the most traditional fabrics, woven from a 100% Scottish wool yarn, but given a complete overhaul – never mind a twist – with this extraordinary colour palette.
Used carefully, this fabric could be very interesting indeed, and it’s certainly brightened up our morning in the studio! I hope you like it too.
