We’ve always been fans of Bocci‘s stunning lighting designs, so it’s great to see their site-specific installation at London’s Barbican Centre. In the Barbican’s foyer, “44” is a magical design by Bocci’s Omer Arbel.
Consisting of lights and aluminium forms suspended on a matrix of cables, you can see it until 18th April. There’s more information and opening times on the Barbican’s website here.
We completed an interior design project in the Barbican Estate recently and it’s a fascinating location. In the same way that the interior acts as a perfect backdrop for this lighting installation, the striking architecture of the estate was a wonderful context in which to design an interior which, while contemporary, was also sensitive to this historic mid-century London landmark.
