Hello. We’re an architectural interior design studio working across Surrey.
We provide high-end interior design in Surrey, creating refined and elegant homes for private clients throughout the county. A winner of Best Stand-Alone Property at the Surrey Property Awards, we’ve designed beautifully detailed interiors for country houses, period properties and contemporary new builds. Each project is led by the client’s lifestyle and how they’d like their home to work, feel and flow.
I believe that the interior design and decoration of our homes has a powerful influence on our lives and wellbeing.
Home is where life happens: where we unwind, host friends, work, recharge and feel most ourselves. A thoughtfully designed interior supports these everyday moments — and just as importantly, shapes how we feel within them.
That feeling doesn’t happen by chance. It comes from intelligent, highly personalised design: understanding how you live, what you value, what the property needs, and how you’d like your home to feel. Seeing clients experience ease, delight and comfort in a transformed space — and feeling the emotional difference their home now brings — is why we do what we do.

Stephen Dick, Interior Designer

Interior Designer in Surrey – Our Studio
We are an interior design and architectural design studio specialising in private client homes and luxury residential projects across Surrey, working on everything from Georgian and Victorian houses to Arts & Crafts homes, contemporary new builds and sensitive listed properties. We offer a full interior design service — from concept, architectural coordination and specification through to furnishing, styling and installation — with every detail tailored carefully to each client and the unique character of their home.
Surrey Heritage, Designed for Modern Living
Surrey’s built environment is rich and varied: market towns, wooded villages, grand country homes and refined suburban streets sit alongside striking contemporary architecture. Many homes come with quirks and constraints — awkward layouts, low light, fragmented circulation — alongside wonderful features worth preserving. Our approach to interior design in Surrey is to respect what’s valuable and to improve what’s needed. We create interiors that feel effortless — better flow, tailored storage, and rooms that are quietly luxurious and designed for modern living.
Inspired by Surrey’s Landscapes
Surrey is defined by woodland, hills, commons and soft natural light. We often reflect this in our palettes and materials — warm timbers, textured stone, natural linens and layered neutrals — balanced with carefully chosen colour and contrast.
The goal is always the same: interiors that feel grounded, welcoming and refined, with a strong sense of place.
Surrey’s Influence on Our Interior Design Work
Across our interior design work in Surrey, a consistent thread emerges: a desire for calm, comfortable spaces that feel beautifully resolved. We create homes that balance refinement with practicality — thoughtful layouts, tailored storage, considered lighting and natural materials chosen to age gracefully. The result is a home that feels quietly luxurious, deeply personal, and anchored in its setting.

Testimonials from our clients around Surrey
Interior design projects around Surrey – a selection
Ranmore Common, Surrey Hills, Dorking
An award-winning conversion in the Surrey Hills, this project was celebrated for its considered layout, creative approach to interiors and its respect for the original architecture. We worked closely with the clients to design this beautiful new house, while still retaining the character and features of the stable yard it was converted from. We sought to enhance and celebrate the existing architecture, while creating understated interiors with a sense of longevity. In designing the interiors and providing creative vision for the project, along with visualisations and walk-through simulations of their new home, we enabled them to make a success of this once-in-a-lifetime project. Inspired by the buildings’ rural setting, the renovation combines organic materials with a series of contemporary touches. Vaulted ceilings are complemented by oak flooring and natural wood finishes, combined with colour pops through a richly painted kitchen, vibrant artwork and floral fabrics.
Hartley Wintney, Hook (near Farnham, on the Hampshire border)
Located near Farnham, this 18th-century home has been transformed into a residence of understated elegance. The principal suite was completely reimagined — with a flowing layout, bespoke dressing areas and a serene, classically inspired bathroom. Sympathetic updates throughout the property extended the feeling of relaxed sophistication while honouring the building’s heritage and the client’s personal style.
Goring / Streatley (near Reading, on the River Thames)
Situated just outside Reading, on the River Thames, the character of this property is similar to many of those in Surrey. The brief was to introduce comfort and understated luxury, and we proposed carefully considered materials and finishes. Interest, colour and pattern are all present in the interior design, but with a light touch and a subtlety in its application. Crucially, the décor now has a consistency throughout. The design introduces subtle shifts through the property, but it all hangs together with a unified feel and atmosphere. A cohesive approach to colour and pattern, combined with careful interventions to the layout of this property, has resulted in a beautiful home of quiet luxury and comfort that the clients can enjoy for many years to come.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a “Surrey look” for interior design?
Not exactly — although there are recurring themes.
Surrey often suits interiors that feel calm, warm and refined, yet also modern and with a strong emphasis on natural materials and thoughtful detailing.
We design each home to feel deeply personal, responding to the client, the property and its setting — with a strong sense of place, but never a “one-size-fits-all” aesthetic. This is where the variety of styles in our portfolio come from, and even in Surrey, every project is unique.
Learn more about our interior design approach and philosophy.
Do we use Surrey-based makers and suppliers in our interiors?
Yes. We collaborate with a network of trusted specialists across Surrey and the South East, from joiners and upholsterers to decorators and makers.
Sourcing locally can reduce transport and lead times, support regional craftsmanship, and strengthen a home’s sense of place through materials and bespoke detailing.
Where in Surrey can we help with interior design projects?
We work across the whole of Surrey, including Guildford, Farnham, Haslemere, the Surrey Hills and surrounding villages, Godalming, Dorking, Reigate, Cobham, Esher, Weybridge, Virginia Water and beyond — as well as neighbouring counties and central London.
