Works have been progressing well at these apartments on London’s River Thames over the last couple of months. All of the behind-the-scenes work on services and acoustics has been completed, the kitchens are installed, and most of the interior finishes are now in and looking wonderful! Here you can see a glimpse of the stunning kitchen and its island wrapped in stone…
This is a really nice part of the project – it’s when you see the design of the new interior really progressing. With the installation of the finishes it’s a chance for the client to see the designs being realised, and to get a sense of how their new home will look and feel when they move back in.
Here are a some peeks at the bathroom finishes – these are stunning mosaic blends which combine stone, glass and pearl to create wonderful effects…
The main focus is now on the joinery – a number of bespoke pieces which are being made for the project. Some of these are actually being made on site, and other pieces will be constructed and finished in the joinery workshop before being transported to London for final installation.
The motorised blinds will be installed shortly, a sleek system which preserves the magnificent view of only London’s River Thames, along with sheer curtains in the bedrooms to soften the light and for privacy.
The furnishings are in production too. We’re using some fantastic storage beds again in order to maximise storage space in these apartments, and the sofas are being made in customised shapes and configurations to perfectly suit the unusual shape of this London apartment building as well as the final arrangements of their interiors.
