Winchester property development
We’re busy in Hampshire too at the moment. We’ve been working with one of Winchester’s premier property developers for over a year now on the interior design of a stunning collection of homes on Sleepers Hill. We started last year with the interior layouts, and the projects have progressed through all of the kitchen design and bathroom designs, finishes and specifications, through to all of the interior finishes.
It’s important for a developer to be able to maximise their return on the investment they’re making, and by using our interior design services they’ve seen improvements to the layouts, fittings and finishes. We’ve helped the developer to make the properties look and feel so much better, and it will also make them more desirable when they’re ready to market. Using some of the latest products available, along with our experience in design and planning, will benefit the not just the property developer, but of course the final owner of the home too.
The homes are in the final stages of construction now and the finishing touches are being added to the bathrooms. It’s wonderful to see the interior designs coming together and how beautiful the finishes that we chose many months ago look once they’re installed!
Show Home window treatments
We’ve also worked on all of the window treatments for the show home and these will go into production this week. They’re a mix of curtains and blinds throughout the property, in elegant fabrics from British and French producers. These will provide a stunning backdrop to the design of the show home, and be the finishing touch for the interior design of these beautiful Winchester homes.
Landscape lighting design in Hampshire
At the landscape project we recently completed in Hampshire, the final stages of the landscape lighting are being installed in the garden. All of the lighting cabling had been hidden during construction, so that it was ready for the final lighting design and installation later. The lighting will enhance the planting as well as the architectural elements of the garden, and allow it to be enjoyed longer into the warmer evenings of the summer, when the natural light fades sooner. I hope to be able to share photography of this beautiful Hampshire garden and landscape design project soon.
