Our London Hampstead project leads Homify's feature on hallway design

It’s great to see our refurbishment of an apartment in Hampstead, London leading Homify’s new feature on the interior design of hallways.

Hallways and entrance spaces are such important parts of our homes: they should create a fabulous first impression of the interior, but at the same time welcome you into the home and encourage you to explore further.  In this project a Scandinavian influence to the finishes resulted in a clean and light-filled introduction to this apartment, which sets the scene for the rest of the contemporary interior.

You can read the full feature on Homify, but here’s the extract about our project:

“A light filled entrance is the envy of most; and if you are blessed with such a feature, you should highlight it! In this contemporary setting, which has been masterfully executed by Residence Interior Design, the important feature is highlighted—the interesting shape and structure of the walls and stairs, with only the simple vase of flowers detracting from the view. Ethereal and airy, the space is bathed in natural light. In this sense, it is inviting and welcoming and the unusual composition before us makes us curious to see more.”
