Demolition in Farringdon, London – the second most exciting part of an interior design project?
The most exciting part of a project is always completion, but where we’ve recently gone on site at our London Farringdon project, the second most exciting part of the project is demolition!
This is the moment when the site is cleared of everything that’s not needed for the new design, and like in many London projects, the interior here will be a full redesign and so the spaces we’re working on are being completely stripped.
There’s no turning back now, but more importantly it’s from this moment that we gradually see the project take shape.
Shortly after demolition the new partitions are set out and fixed, creating the framework of the layout for the new design and a glimpse at the effect of our work on space planning.
From this point it’s a gradual process: working on the services and then building up the interior finishes and fittings to complete the project. This London interior design project is going to be a real transformation and I’ll bring you more updates as the project progresses.
